Delta Adds Boston Nonstops to Madrid and Nice in Summer 2026

Delta adding two new Europe routes from Boston
Delta will add two summer-seasonal long haul routes from Boston Logan (BOS) in 2026: Madrid (MAD) and Nice (NCE). The city pairs cover roughly 3,410 miles (BOS–MAD) and 3,807 miles (BOS–NCE). Schedules aren’t published yet, but both routes will be operated by Airbus A330-900neos with 281 seats: 29 Delta One, 28 Premium Select, 56 Comfort+, and 168 Main Cabin. Separately, Boston–Barcelona (BCN) is slated to move from 3x weekly to daily next summer.
Here’s how Paul Baldoni, Delta’s SVP of Network Planning, frames it: “As a cornerstone of Delta’s global network, Boston plays a vital role in connecting our customers to the world. By adding nonstop service to Madrid and Nice, we’re enhancing our European network and continuing our commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience from start to finish.”

With Madrid and Nice, Delta’s BOS long-haul map grows to a dozen European cities for summer 2026: Amsterdam (AMS), Athens (ATH), Barcelona (BCN), Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI), Lisbon (LIS), London (LHR), Madrid (MAD), Milan (MXP), Nice (NCE), Paris (CDG), and Rome (FCO). That’s an impressive spread for a station where JetBlue is the only other US carrier with meaningful transatlantic service. Expect the small Delta One Lounge at BOS to be busy.
These are among Delta’s first 2026 Europe announcements, alongside Seattle–Barcelona and Seattle–Rome increases. Delta is also letting SkyMiles members vote on a future Mediterranean addition (Ibiza, Malta, or Sardinia), so more reveals could follow.
