BermudAir is moving into New York City’s main airports this fall, shifting its Bermuda service from suburban Westchester to LaGuardia (LGA) and Newark (EWR). The airline will also add a Newark–Anguilla link via its new AnguillAir subsidiary.
BermudAir’s new LGA and EWR flights
BermudAir will begin Bermuda (BDA)–Newark (EWR) on Oct 26, 2025, 2x weekly (Thu, Sun). Three days later, it will debut Bermuda (BDA)–LaGuardia (LGA), 2x weekly (Wed, Sat). Service will be operated by Embraer E175/E190 aircraft.
AnguillAir’s Newark–Anguilla launch
On Dec 18, 2025, BermudAir’s new subsidiary, AnguillAir, will start twice-weekly service between Anguilla (AXA) and Newark (EWR) on Thursdays and Sundays.
What’s changing at Westchester and elsewhere
BermudAir will end Westchester County (HPN) service when the LGA/EWR flights begin. The carrier is also trimming parts of its network: Charleston (CHS) ends Oct 26, 2025; Hartford/Bradley (BDL) ends Dec 14, 2025; Providence (PVD) ended in July. BermudAir does not currently offer a loyalty program.
How BermudAir fits into the competitive picture
At LGA, BermudAir will be the only airline flying nonstop to Bermuda. At EWR, it will face United on the BDA route while adding a unique Newark–Anguilla option. Access at slot-controlled LaGuardia and tightly managed Newark remains competitive; the airline hasn’t disclosed how it obtained the necessary timings. The expansion also comes as the operator of Bermuda’s airport has reportedly pursued unpaid-fee claims against the carrier.
Bottom line
BermudAir is trading HPN for prime New York gateways, adding twice-weekly Bermuda flights at both LGA and EWR, plus a Newark–Anguilla service under its AnguillAir brand. The move should broaden the airline’s reach in the New York market even as it pares back elsewhere.
