New Routes from Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN)
Starting in early 2025, Avelo will commence nonstop services from HVN to the following destinations:

- Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (DFW): Flights begin on March 7, 2025.
- Jacksonville, FL (JAX): Service starts on February 14, 2025.
- Detroit, MI (DTW): Operations commence on April 4, 2025.
- Portland, ME (PWM): Flights launch on May 22, 2025.
These additions will increase Avelo’s network from HVN, offering more travel options for Southern Connecticut residents.
New International Route from Bradley International Airport (BDL)
In a significant move, Avelo will introduce its third international destination from BDL:
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ): Seasonal flights are set to begin on February 21, 2025, operating twice weekly through Labor Day weekend.
This route complements Avelo’s existing international services to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Cancún, Mexico, providing travelers with more affordable options to popular Caribbean destinations.
