Eurowings’ Biggest-Ever Summer At Berlin Brandenburg
Eurowings is set to massively ramp up its presence at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) for the summer 2026 schedule, offering 43 destinations in 20 countries – more than ever before from the German capital.
The Lufthansa subsidiary is:
-
Launching three new capital city routes
-
Adding three new leisure destinations
-
Boosting frequencies on multiple existing routes
-
Increasing its based fleet from seven to nine aircraft
Three New Capital City Connections
From summer 2026, Eurowings will add three key capitals to its Berlin network:

-
Lisbon (LIS) – from 29 March 2026, up to 3x weekly
-
Sarajevo (SJJ) – from 27 June 2026, up to 2x weekly
The Sarajevo service will be BER’s first-ever nonstop link to the Bosnian capital.
New Leisure Routes To The Med
Eurowings is also deepening its holiday offering from Berlin with three new Mediterranean destinations:
-
Olbia (OLB), Sardinia – from 28 June 2026, up to 2x weekly
-
Naples (NAP), Italy – from 7 April 2026, up to 2x weekly

Kavala (KVA), Greece – from 12 July 2026, up to 2x weekly
Both Sarajevo and Kavala will be served non-stop from BER for the first time.
More Flights To Existing Favorites
Alongside the new routes, Eurowings is adding capacity on several high-demand destinations from Berlin:
-
Palma de Mallorca – +6 flights per week
-
Stockholm – +5 flights per week
-
Zurich & Split – +2 flights per week each
-
Bilbao, Faro, Göteborg, Helsinki, Larnaca – +1 flight per week each
This mix of extra frequencies and new routes is aimed at both city breaks and classic sun destinations.
Two More Aircraft Based At BER
To support the expanded schedule, Eurowings will add two more aircraft to its Berlin base, bringing the total to nine based aircraft for summer 2026.
The airline says this extra capacity lays the foundation for:
-
A larger route network
-
Higher frequencies on key routes
-
A stronger long-term commitment to the Berlin–Brandenburg region
Airport operator BER has welcomed the move as a clear vote of confidence in the capital’s market potential and in its strategic partnership with Eurowings.
Bottom Line
From summer 2026, Eurowings will run its largest-ever operation at Berlin Brandenburg, with 43 destinations, six new routes, and two additional based aircraft. New links to London, Lisbon, Sarajevo, Olbia, Naples, and Kavala, plus boosted service to existing favorites, will give Berlin passengers more choice than ever for both city and beach trips across Europe.
